i normally get my period at the exact beginning of every month, an i lost my virginity on the 14th. my boyfren said he wasnt to sure if he cummed in me or not, buh he he says he doubted that, but i still went an got a birth control pill. my freind said i was suppose to get my period one time after takin the pill. is that true?? is my period going to come at the beginning of the next month?? Could i be pregnant, since i havent seen anything happening yet?? do these work enough to stop a pregnancy??
All I know is that a BC pill can cause a miscarriage. I guess my advice would be to just take a test, get the stress of not knowing out.
What??? Your post is confusing and uninformed. Your doctor, the person who perscribed the pills for you should have done a pregnancy test on you before giving you the prescription, that is if you didn't lie to the doctor. Second, you're not supposed to take the pill until the first day of your next period or the Sunday immediatly after you start your next period. You can't just start taking it in the middle of your cycle. Your doctor should have told you that too. Third BC can cause a miscarriage or it can just cause you to have a child with a birth defect. The latter is more likely actually.
Or are you talking about Plan B??
And it's amazing to me that your bf wouldn't know if he orgasmed while inside of you or not. How about using a condom next time. Huh???

thats funny you're all wrong.......birth control does not cause miscarriages or birth defects, but you still shouldn't take it if you think you're pregnant. you should check your sources.
no, you are worng too! My fiance is a doctor and my sister in med school, but i got preggers and researched it myself. So no, the pill has no evidence whatsoever of causing birth defects, however is can cause you not to carry to term if conception occurs. this is b/c the pill thickens the lining of your uterus making it much more difficult for the eggs to implant itself into. this has been scientifically proven many times that if sperm meets egg, it still may not implant into the lining b/c of the thickness that developped. Hope that helps!
I am sorry to say but if you have a regular cycle you had sex during ovulation and taking birth control AFTER won't help.
You better pray you're not pregnant.

If you generally stop/start period on the 1st of every month than the 14th is prime time for you to begin ovulation which increases your chances of becoming pregnant (obviously though). If you are concerned that you are going to be or are (that is)pregnant than you need to stop taking the pill as the pill messes with your hormones in a VERY negative way for the pregnant body, which can lead to a painful misscarrage or having potentially, a mentally challenged child, disabled, diformed, messed up kid.... If you don't want to have it then you need to look into abortion and not a chemical abuse against your fetus...

I have had an abortion and if I could go back in time I would have never had one. It has messed up my life more than any child would have. I know we are each entitled to our own opinion. So, you said yours... here's mine. Don't get an abortion. Please, if you are considering it send me a post and I'll tell you my story. I can help. Please take care.
ps- we must take responsibility for our actions ie: having sex and getting pregnant... if your pregnant and don't want to be, then you should have taken precautions for this. Step up and deal with it. There are so many people in this world who don't have children. Don't go around killing them!
