Last year I had a very painful experience, which revolved around my lower back. After a day of very vigorous activities I noticed a sharp pain in my lower back which grew more intense over several days, being one of the worst pain sensations I've ever felt. After a week or two the pain slowly subsided but I noticed a large bump there. I consulted my doctor and he told me what I had was a cyst on a cord in my back. I do experience much less intense pain in this area when I do activities that involve a lot of back work, and have recently noticed anthoer smaller cyst near the first.
My question is, can anyone point me to information towards this condition? I plan on making a return visit to my doctor, but I like to research these things myself. I have two other cysts that have been diagnosed as non serious in my neck and upper back, however the placement and the pain these new ones cause has me slightly distressed. So any links, info, ideas for exercises that can help reduce pain associated with this would be most welcome.
