hello , I'm 14 years old and a few days ago i found a swollen lump behind my ear and i have sharp pains down my kneck it hurt's to sleep at night and i get head ache's and ache's in my throat and it makes me feel sick and tired all the time , i was just wondering if anybody would know anything about this , if you could please share . You are young and I am not sure if you know anything about lymphatic system in your body? Lymph nodes are located all around our body and they help us maintain good health and if there is an infection in the body they wake up and notify us and try to fight the infection. They get enlarged in the place which is near the infection. From what you have described in your post I think that you might be running down a flu or you are having some kind of infection in your throat. You should talk to you parents about this and you could use some antibiotics to get rid of that infection that you have.
