it could be your g-spot or even your "cherry" and it bled because you "popped it" you dont have to have sex to pop your cherry and you also some people do not have one.
Gymnasts are a very good example - alot of them dont bleed when they first have sex or go deep enough to pop it because they have already done so whilst training - I am a gymnast but I did have one - my partner who I now have a beautiful son with fingered me and I bled quite a lot! At first I thought it was my period but I knew I had only just been on, and also it only lasted about an hour.

I am only 18 and this happened less than 2 years ago. Please tho if you are worried go to your gp and ask her about it - or go to a sexual health clinic and fid out.

Hope I could help x

Ok so basically... I haven't had a period in two months but I know for a fact I'm not pregnant because I haven't had sex in about six months and I'd had my periods regularly up till now. Anyways, I have been active with personal toys etc.... I've cleaned them and all that jazz so I know my problem isn't from dirty toys. To the point... I have a bump. It wasn't there before, I know my body and so I know it isn't my cervix nor the 'g-spot'. It isn't painful... just a firm bump but I've been urinating more frequently and just like last month cramping but no period... I'm starting to worry. Could the bump be the reason for my missing period? Im going to the doc but I'm hoping its nothing serious.

Ok, so just to fill everyone in... I went to the doc. Apparently, it is normal for some women to skip their periods occasionally for anywhere from 2 to 4 months because they skipped ovulation and their body gets confused. Most times they have to give you two packs of pills and it jump starts your very confused body back on the right track. The bump I had was inflamed tissue apparently from hymenal remnants... So to the 16 year old who replied... you might just be feeling your own hymen and in that case its totally natural. However, if you're still overly concerned go to your gynecologist and they'll take a look. You gotta go anyway sooner or later so now is a good chance. If you're skipping they'll probably give you the pills I was talking about and some birth control to take after to keep you regulated. They told me to ignore the bump that the inflammation would ease up and everything would go back to normal.

Hey guys, I'm 17 and have just noticed a lump on the front of my vagina. It's not very far in but I am extremely worried about it. I am also under the muscloskeletal service at the hospital who, on an xray, noticed a lump on an xray in my pubic symphyseal joint :/ Is this the same lump or not? I'm really concered as I am a virgin and it's almost as though a penis would not fit because of this lump. I'm really worried :-( Any ideas would be greatly appreciated xxx

hello, I really have no idea what it is, I had no idea it was there until my boyfriend was poking me and afterwards he asked what is was and I was so embarrassed because I thought I was the only one with this "lump", so that's why I came on here to see if it was normal. By the sounds of things it's not overly abnormal and I doubt it has anything to do with you being a virgin or not. I advise that you either ask/tell your mum or someone you can trust or go get checked out by a doctor or nurse, even bring it up within your friends and see if they have the same problem. I dont think it's that big a deal, and guys probably can't feel it during sex and I doubt they would care at all :P

it doesnt hurt but its quite big.

The lump is the Cervix, the G-spot is located in the area of the pubic bone on the top of the vaginal canal.

Hey. I have one too - only mine is on the front wall of my vagina. Am 17 - its never affected me but I thought is look it up incase. It doesn't get in the way during sex, suprisingly! Seeing as I can touch it with my middle finger, but my boyfriend can push in way past it.
I'm guessing its normal seeing as pretty much all of us have one. If your worried - go see your doctor :-)

I am 17 and I have this large lump in my vagina as well. For those of you who think it is cancer, here are the facts. Vaginal cancer is a very rare form of cancer that runs in the family. It usually occurs in women of the ages of 60 years and higher. To all of you young women in this post, it is most likely not cancer. If you still have worries, go see your doctor and have it checked out.
