I had these symptoms post dengue fever, so if you have had any viral infection/fever before you see these lumps - please ask your doctor for a thyroid test. These virus invade your thyroid and hence the lumps. If your doctor isn't resolving your issues, see another one. Fast!

Strangely enough I have the same symtems and was told by the doctor about my previous collarbone break that I was totally unaware of. I have had xrays but seems everything OK there. Don't know where to go from here either.

For almost a month, I've had a lump on the very tip of my collarbone in the soft tissue under my Adam's Apple. Pain from putting pressure on the spot or even tilting my head back refers to my right shoulder. Pressing down on the spot is painful also. I have periodic difficulty swallowing, it comes and goes. I've never broken any bones or injured the area of my shoulder or neck, etc. but I did have prostate cancer two years ago. It was found early and was treated cryogenically (freezing) instead of removing it completely. The procedure left me with ED but all follow-ups have been normal. PSA is zero.

I had a pea sized lump on my collarbone, the lump moved in front and then behind the collarbone. When I did an interent search I was terrified as my symptoms indicated cancer. I have just had an ultrasound scan after a month of waiting and am relieved to say it is just a superficial lump. I want to reassure others that these lumps can be nothing, but ALWAYS get it checked and speak to your doctor. For those who get different news from myself, because of the area the lump is in and the type of cancer it is, it has a really successful recovery rate, so I will you all the best of luck in recovery.

I have the same problem. I am 38 years old. My lump is right on my throat. I went to the Dr and they can't figure out what it is. Drs haven't done any test. They say is nothing, but I am in so much pain sometimes, I don't believe them. Also I have a sore throat every day. I, as well, have all kinds of strange symptoms. I am so upset because it seems like no one can figure it out. If some one has any ideas please let me know.

Hi. I'm also 38 and same symptoms. My lump is in the middle of my throat right above the right side of the collar bone and the area is sentivie to touch. The lump is actually makeing the bone stick out. ultrasound shows a nodule on my thyroid. I had a bopsy on it and will get the results in january. I have a sore throat that antibiotics did not help and swollen glands in my neck and face, dizziness, sore shoulders. Check your thyroid - it seems to casue all kinds of strange symptoms (and my TH blood test was normal).

I have a painful lump about the size of an olive above my clavicle on my left side of my neck. I have numbness in my shoulder, arm, hand and sometimes leg (all left side) and the left side of my face. I've had an MRI of my neck and head, that didn't explain much, next I'm getting an MRI of my left shoulder. I've had some tests at the neurologists, one of them involved the dr sticking needles in my neck, arm etc. I didn't feel a thing! I've had to wear all kinds of wrist supports, taken anti-inflammatory pills, etc. I have read through the posts here and I have many of the same symptoms! I have had problems with my neck and wrist for many years now, but for the past few months, I have pretty much been unable to use my left arm and hand. Hopefully the drs will come up with a diagnosis sooner than later. God Bless All.

My oncology said it probably moved due to the surgery. They are going to do a cats can to double check. I very nery nervous.good luck to everyone who suffers any illness!
