lump on collarbone near throat

I found a soft lump at base of neck above collar bone I am a smoker

I went to the ER one night because of shoulder pain.I was pretty sure that I had a torn rotator cuff.That ended up being true.While I was there doctor decided to do a c.t scan of my neck.It came back with swollen lymph nodes of the clavicle.She decided to do an MRI scan with contrast.Showed same thing.Blood work showed low red cell count.I had a biopsy of the biggest lymph node measuring 2.5 centimeters.I am waiting for results.All I can say is thank God I went to the hospital.Always insist on a scan or MRI with contrast!!!

Ask for MRI with contrast.The due really does pick up more things

I would see an Orthopedic surgeon or a Throat Specialist

I have one on my collarbone as well and just started feeling like something is in my throat n hard to swollow. I dont know what it could be but had it for a few months but its just starting to effect my throat

sometimes this can also be related to osteoarthritis of the shoulder/collar bone.

I have a fleshy lump near collarbone but without pain. I'm a male.

Ive noticed this for ages..but recently hurt a bit..was swollen..but swelling has gone down but lump still there..Im not aware of having made odd movement thus causing possible fracture. Im strong n v agile inspite of my young years..71.. I showed it to Dr finally yesterday n he felt there was nothing to be concerned about..but I cant help thinking its not normal.

I am 51 yr old female pl;ayed volleyball and basketnall all throughtout my school years up til college. Oveer the years I have intermittent problems with collarbone, heart , vagus nerve(svt). Once thought I was having a heart attack because I would have intermittent unbearable pain going down my arm. Later I was told I had a longer than normal collar bone or clavicle(the one fronm throat to shoulder...and the pain was from the nerves getting twisted in them. I was about mid 30's. Now 51 I am having problem with pain in neck at the base and where bra straps sit at tip between neck and shoulder. I have a lump at lower necklike on the bone and it feels like my neck is being pushed off center. recently saw video of me walking and I walk like a gorilla I think shoulders are forward and down neck is going forward which I work at a computer so that may contribute bra straps are getting painful like a 40 c I had a fatty tumor removed from neck in my early 30s leaving a 3-4 inch scar at the base on back. Xray for something else shows my neck off center and it looks like my spine is rotating. I am waitting for report now. when I turn my head I do get popping or grinding with pain and it feels swollen up side of neck to jaw. just lifting neck with hand can make popping sounds
