I think that my horse has an allergy to insect bites - every time she gets stung, she gets big lumps. Right now, she has a huge lump on her back, I am guessing it was caused by a horse fly or perhaps even by one of them hornets, and I think it really hurts her. Are there any treatments?
U will know if ur horse is allergic to these insect bites if:
She is continuously rubbing herself or if she is losing hair (especially in the mane and tail)
It is important 4 ur horse to get an allergy test to determine what insect has caused this lump, so the right allergy shot can be given to get rid of this lump.
Bites 4rom bees and wasps can cause horses to get lumps.
To keep insects off ur horse, put fans in ur horse's barn.
I luv horses :) hope ur's gets better soon :p

I suspect the lump on my horse's back is cancerous. What should I do?
