Last fall, I noticed a small marble/pea sized lump under the skin of my left labia. I told my mom and she couldn''t even FEEL it. I wasn''t too concerned because it doesn''t hurt at all, not even when I press down on it, its tiny, and it is moves in a circular motion when I move it with my fingers. It feels attached to a nerve or vein or something. I'm not sure. You can't physically see it, there's no lump or anything, its just underneath.
If I don''t feel it physically with my fingers then its like it doesn''t even exist. It doesn''t bother me but I was concerned about it so I went to see my doctor last week. She had a hard time finding it while I was laying down so I had to stand up, and even then she couldn''t find it unless she pressed down hard. She said it felt like a small cyst and that I should just monitor it until my next physical in November.
Sometimes it feels smaller, and sometimes it feels bigger.. if I lay down it feels smaller and when I stand up it feels bigger. But it's been about the same size since I first noticed it, if anything it feels smaller. But I don''t know if I should be concerned about it or should I take my doctor''s advice.

As women we are VERY prone to cysts, and especially in fine areas - such as our labias, our inner eyes (styes), ear lobes etc. Most of them are called Keloids - they are scar tissue that has hardened - you might have had a blocked pore and the blockage just hardened and didn't go anywhere! The only time to REALLY worry is when it spreads - as this can easily get into your blood stream! The sebaceous blockages can be caused by waxing, shaving, ingrown hairs, blocked pores etc.! When it is like this, they don't require treatment, as I stated above IF the lump starts really moving around I would just bring that up to your doctor! Good lcuk honey!
