Hi I'm 12 For awhile I've been thinking about having male to female surgery because I don't want to be a boy anymore. One reason I want surgery is because I want to be a lezbo. I'm just into girls in a different way. Second reason is because I want to be in the outfits girls wear. I've always been fascinated in there style of dresswear. The final reason is because I want to have friends who are mainly girls. What should I do?
I think the first step is to talk to your parents and then maybe they can suggest you talking to a psychiatrist and then you go from there. A professional needs to help you make this type of decision because it is a big one.

Well there is many thing you must do sweetie I'm Kesi I'm a transgender male to female and going thru the transition for a while so first yes talk to you parents about what your feeling inside because a lot of people who wishes to go thru the transition is normally confused or just interested in what it's like to be female...see for transgenders like me and many others it's not a choice you see it's how we are born when we are born we walk talk act thing and dress like a woman should because although born male our mind set was born female...also if you really want to go thru with the transition be for warned not everyone will in the world will accept you you will have to have a strong mind body and a heart for they WILL judge you mock you laugh at you point at you and even harass you..so be prepaired for a hard road ahead...also you must take estrogens and testosterone blockers along with estrogen boosters shots work better but the doctors anywhere will most likely start you off on the estrogen pill which is called premarin 1.25mg or 2.5mg and a 25mg testosterone blocker called spironolactone for also when your breasts grow in your will have discomfort from them growing so be prepaired for that too if you want the surgeries done both top and both you must be cleared mentally from a doctor because like I said before their are many many many men out there who think are born a male boilogically and think they should be female but it turns out that it's just they are ether gay or just curious about our lives as a transgender but I do support you of you want to become another sister in the world of transgenders just be sure you want this for yourself and no one else god bless and have a great day if you have any other questions please Dolby hesitate to ask I'm always here I help a fellow transgenders you may also look me up on face book@ _[removed]_ enter it in the search area I can help you more if you want or at traxmax96752@gmail.com

Also for awhile like since I was 6 or 7 on most weekends I would take some of my 11 yr old sister's clothes( including bras dresses underwear etc.) and model in them in front of my mirror. For awhile I thought I was gay but now I know that I was actually a girl... On the inside of course

Simply stated, you aren't old enough to be prescribed estrogen. You seem to want surgery for all the wrong reasons. It's a very serious procedure, and it's not something people get because they don't want to be a boy anymore. Or because they want to be a ''lezbo''. And saying you want to be in the outfits girls wear isn't a valid reason either. It seems to me that you have an interest in crossdressing, and there isn't anything wrong with that. The Standards of Care are a set of guidelines used by medical professionals in most countries. The SOC, among other things, defines the criteria used to determine both readiness and eligibility for those seeking gender reassignment surgery. For more information, please talk with a therapist, preferably a member of WPATH.
Best wishes
