Little background about myself. 26 year old male, Smoked every day (high basically all day) for 4+ years. Black out drinker on the weekend for the past few years as well.
One day dizziness and anxiety hit me while i was high that really shook my world. I decided i needed to cut back on everything and make healthier lifestyle changes. While the dizziness and nausea was unbearable, I had to leave my job and basically live lifeless with my parents for the first 3 months. In that time I went to the doctors and they found my blood pressure was really high (158/95) and my anxiety, dizziness and ringing in my ears was contributed to my unhealthy choices and substance abuse.
I had never felt anxiety and discomfort like this ever before and it had been tough to get out of bed and do everyday tasks like going to work, etc. i would get spells of dizziness that were so bad i couldnt function properly. I was scared sh*tless and couldn't understand what was going on. Its been a year since that day I moved back in with my parents and I occasionally smoke a couple times a month and maybe got drunk 3 or 4 times in that year span.
My blood pressure now is 130/75 and I have lost 30 lbs but the dizziness still comes and goes and makes working very difficult. I still have anxiety attacks as well when the dizziness come on.
Just really looking for some encouragement or anybody who has been in a similar situation???
The longest I have gone without smoking in that year span was about 50 days. Could I still be dizzy because I never really have quit for a long period of time and occasionally use?
