Please tell if it is safe to put Mederma on open wounds. I am clumsy, and it happens often that I have household accidents. Last week I burned my fingers, and yesterday I stabbed my arm. What can I say? My husband makes fun of me because of that. I used Mederma for scars and I am very satisfied how it works.
I think you shouldn’t apply Mederma on open wounds. It is only for scars and healed wounds. I use Mederma for Kids, my children like it because it is purple. And I‘ll give you a tip, I use it sometimes for stretch marks.
So you doctors keep saying don't use on opened wounds, but I need to no WHY?! What is the harm? Sure, it's for closed, scaring wounds but is it actually going to do something negative or is it just not able to do its job til the jobs there.... a scar? Please give me facts, not assumptions. Thank you!
