Sometimes it could take up to 8 weeks for your normal scheduled period to begin again. Your lucky if you bled for only a couple of days after your procedure, many girls bleed for weeks. Have you been back to the doctor for your post check? If your procedure was done by a reputable doctor or clinic, you should be fine at that end.
If your having unprotected sex, you do run the risk if getting pregnant again. I wouldn't put to much thought into it right now, but if your period doesn't show up soon, you may want to give your doc a call.
