Hi, sorry what u have been going through and I completely understand because I am in a very similar situation. Like you, I have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. I was recommended Reclast. Additionally, have had 3 thyroid biopsies...waiting on results of this last one...cells had to be sent to another lab for further clarification. I have had leg pain in hip joints and thighs for last 2 years, have calcium issues, take 4000 mg of D3. Really disgusted trying to get back to enjoying activities that I love but not easy to do when body doesn't feel right. Have also researched Dr. Norman. Wish you the best in coming to conclusion re your problem. Charlotte

It’s not about the scan ... it’s about the surgeon. All 4 parathyroid glands have to be checked! A large tumor will show up on the scan but the smaller ones WILL NOT SHOW UP.... so the incision has to be in the middle.... that way the surgeon can get to all 4 parathyroid glands. If you have too much calcium in the blood than you most likely have a tumor on the parathyroid gland or more than 1 gland. You have to have surgery. There is no treatment !
