My mother is 61 years old and has been healthy all her life. Now she has to deal with arthritis and it is a real shame, considering she has been into yoga for the past 30 years. Anyway, she is thinking of using acupuncture to deal with her problem but I am a bit afraid here. Are minor internal bleeding after this method is applied possible?
Uh - oh, this is not such a dangerous procedure, so you should lighten up a bit. I mean, there are some possible side effects that might happen, but the percentage is really very tiny. And I could even say that percentage of side effects after using meds is much, much higher.

This all means that when we are discussing alternative methods of medical treatment, acupuncture is the only one that has some medical, science proof of being useful to some point. There are dozens of conditions this method can help with, including arthritis and an even bigger list of illnesses that wait for confirmation of being dealt with acupuncture.

As for those internal bleeding, I am not sure what you exactly think of. There might be some really minor bleeding at the spot of needle entry, but that is only superficial and there is no need to worry about that. I have used this method to deal with my sinus problems and it really helped.
