To all the cream users out there that are using some time of cream remember a day after cleaning YOU NEED TI WASH AWAY ALL THE DRY CREAM.
this caused it again for me cause I clotted my skin! I cleaned it all away and it fells great, I can sit down and I am almost confident enough to try biking again (stay away from biking if you have this problem ) I use Saforelle to clean! It works and is affordable!

I'm currently seeing a doctor for this too, while I do actually have type 1 genital herpes - this is not the cause of the tears as open wounds have been tested negative for the virus. My vaginal dermatologist specialist suggest it could be eczema. I do not suffer with eczema elsewhere, but if you do, this could be the cause of your discomfort.
I think genital eczema is strongly underestimated as a cause for vaginal itching and pain. I read that it is the most common cause!
I am using an aqueous cream on the area before showering. It hasn't gone away yet though

I developed this problem a couple years after starting the depo shot, and the problem has persisted after switching to an IUD 3 months ago so I'm not sure they're related. My doc treated me for a yeast infection but that didn't help :(

I thought it was caused by the pads that I wore so I changed it and it's the same down there now I thinking that it's hormones. One of my doctor said that its herpes the other said no no however I've not done a blood test but I'm so confused because is has been happening from the starting of the year every month close to the last days of my period pills didn't help the aloe gel didn't help either. Help please.

Hello all, I am very glad to not be alone. So this is what goes on with me. I am 35 and I actually compromised Immune System. I was born with a generic mutaution that causes my immune system to work correctly. Normal folks have 5 types of Antibodies in their immune system. My body does not make two of those antibodies and i also have one more antibody that I just don't make enough. So 2 I don't have at all and 1 that I just don't make enough of. The antibody that I have little amounts of I actually get treatment for and that is IgG. There is not treatment for the other 2 that I don't have. One of those antibodies that I don't produce is IgA. IgA is the antibody that works inside your GI tract and also in your genitalia. So because I don't make that antibody I have issues with my GI tract and My genitals. Not having that antibody in my Vagina I am very prone to yeast infections. It is also like having a yeast infection all the time. Which I can monitor and treat with creams either over the counter and prescribed to me by my doctor. So having command yeast infection can cause the vagine area to be extremely dry sometimes or it is extremely wet all the time. I have found that when I stay wet all the time is when I have the most of my issues. Every time I have sex no matter if it is rough sex or slow gentle sex I get tears everytime. I also have a overly sentiveity in the labias, as well in the vagina all the way Up. This causes sex to be very painful. I am also pretty much guaranteed to get a yeast infection every time after sex. With or without condoms I will still get torn and a infection.
So here is how I treat it. I haven't found a way of preventing it though. So after sex when I get a tear I will wash the area with sensitive Summer's eve wash if I use regular soap it will burn and cause the issue to get worst. So wash it then makes sure the area is dry. My doctor actually said it is better to actually use a hair dryer on a low cool setting will help completely dry the area which may not happen with just a towel. After the area is dryer then I have a Antibiotics cream that I insert in the vagina (just like a yeat infection treatment) make sure you alway wear a pad cause the cream does come back out. (That is what it is suppose to do) so I insert the antibiotic cream and then I will use a Q-tip soaked in hydrogen Proxide and clean the cuts or tears. Then I apply Neosporin (or triple antibiotic cream/Ointment) to the actual cuts and tears. You should a Q-tip as well to apply the Neosporin.. it will start to clear up and heal with in a day or so.
It isn't a STD I have been tested for everything and all have negative time after time.
I figured out my own regiment of treatment along with my doctor and his approval.
First of all you need a partner who respects the issue and you. Who understands that it is painful for you and you have to treat the issue so you might not be able to have sex everyday or something like that.
Then a doctor who works with you and that you can really talk with about the issue.
I hope any of the information that i just shared is helpful. Oh and the prescription Antibiotic cream that me and my doctor found that best works for me is Clindamycin.
So if you are getting tears and cut very frequently then talk with your doctor and hopefully you can get a regiment of treatment that best works for you and your body.

Hi Everyone. After years of suffering from paper cuts after sex I had a biopsy done and was diagnosed with lichens sclerosis, it's a chronic skin condition when you don't have the normal elasticity that most woman have and hence you tear. I've tried pretty much everything and now turning to prayer, healthy diet and claiming my God given right to have a harmonious happy vagina. Thoughts become things, let's see what happens.

I was incarcerated for almost a year and was recently released also my boyfriend was in jail most off he time I was in prison he was released 8days prior to me. Of course when in prison they do every test under the sun on you and I was free and clear of everything. Once I was out my boyfriend and I had sex quiet a bit. He began itching his privates A LOT. we thought it was his medicine he is on but after all the scratching he has scratch marks or paper cut paper places on his penis and then soon after I had a small paper cut for lack of better terminology appear on the bottom of my vagina hole and also something that feels like a paper cut that is in a small circle about he size of my pinky fingernail just below that. It burns when I pee hurts to wipe hurts to wash just stings really bad when doing those things. Now its been about 10days since I had sex the first time and my boyfriends penis is pretty much described the same way besides he acts like it hurts way more than mine. I keep thinking and telling him that I think its herpes. He is persistent that it is not but now I can not be so sure after reading some of these post. Obviously a doctor visit is in my near future but some post I read say every doctor says something different. So some doctors are saying its herpes and some do not think so. My question is, would herpes, if contracted show symptoms that quick after being exposed? I really think my boyfriend cheated while I was in prison and got herpes as a result and has gave it to me. Guess ill have sec to leave that determination to my OB-GYN. If anyone has any advice please share. Thanks

You can have shingles down there too which is a herpes type. There is also something called LS. You might need several tests, cultures, labs or even biopsy to find out the cause.
