I am trying to decide if I should go to Baylor or MD Anderson in HOuston, Dr Norman in Tampa or Mayo for MIRP on thyroid and parathryoid. Any suggestions? I want the best I can get. Also have some other concurrent disorders, maybe.

I suggest that you look up the website for Dr Babak Larian in Los Angeles. He is very good to call people and answer questions and is an excellent surgeon who does MIRP. I would never have gotten to surgery if it weren't for him. You are right to choose your surgeon wisely. I wish you the best. mass

I agree with mass and you should choose your surgeon carefully! It isn’t easy to put your life into someone else’s hands and it doesn’t matter what type of surgery is in question. Even during the easiest and most common procedures something can go wrong so it is relief when you know that you can trust to the person who is going to cut you.
I have heard wonderful things about Dr Babak Larian in Los Angeles as well and few of my friends are saying them some of their friends share my opinion. But in the end this is your decision so you are the one who is going to decide. Good luck and keep us posted about this.
