I took a few pregnancy tests last week, and to my surprise they were all positive, only to start bleeding a few days later. I started bleeding Thursday afternoon, at first just a pinkish color then brown, now full on bleeding like a period. I have been having pretty bad cramping, not 24/7 but it will come and go. It's a lot worse when I stand up and move around. So I finally got a ride to the hospital on Sunday, and during the U/S the tech was telling me I was 6 weeks and it looked like it had stopped developing, no heartbeat or movement, that I would probably miscarry. So they take me back to my room, the doctor comes back and tells me that I'm fine, 6 weeks and 1 day, my cervix is closed so I am not having a miscarriage. He put me on bedrest for 3 days, but I'm on the 2nd day and still bleeding with some cramping. The blood is a bright red, so that's one of the main concerns. Anyone have any idea if I should be this worried?

hi, i have been bleeding for three days now, heavy like a period, the day i started bleeding i called EPAS and they arranged a scan the following day. i had the scan which showed i was around 5 weeks pregnant, so it was too early on to see anything so i was told to come back in a weeks time. i am now on day two and i cant wait another 5 days. i have heavy bleeding, cramping all day and a few small clots. when i go to the toilet its like wiping when i have my period. i am petrified as the scan a few days ago showed two sacs!! knowing there are twins makes this even harder. I have contact EPAS and they have said they can scan me again on monday but it sounds like i am miscarrying. :(
