i am 21 and i am very familier with birth control pill and the depo shot. for the past year i have been taking yaz except for 5 months ago for 2 months. i am back on yaz but have missed a few pills in a row all month i keep forgeting to take them, so when i remeber i have doubled up, doest feel good so i stoped doing that and so i have been having some common syptoms of being in early pregnancy, feel sick to my stomache, headache, extreme exhaustion, so emotional i cry over every little thing, extremely cranky. i know these are also side effects of yaz but i have never had them this severe. i have not taken a pill for about a week and have not gotten my period. i have a slight spotting that has started today. my last period was 3 days and the lightest i have ever had. i have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative, but i have also read that the body does not produce the hormone that the test are looking for until the embreo has emplanted to the wall of the uteris. is this possible and how often does this happen if at all? like i said i have never had these syptoms so sevre on the pill, except when i was pregnant the first time. please let me know what you think. thank you
From what I know most home pregnancy test can detect a pregnancy 10 days after falling pregnant, but you need to do 2 or 3 to be sure. I have also forgotten to take Yaz for a few days and had round about the same symptoms. But I have also heard that Yaz is very harmful for the baby when pregnant and can cause severe birth defect, so if you are unsure rather have a pregnancy test done with your doctor, rather save then sorry.
I was on the depo shot, but I got onto the pills, but I missed my pill two days in a row. What do I do? Am I going to get pregnant?
