Scientists decided to examine the drinking habits of people and their impact on the brain. The research was done by the Australian National University in Canberra and included 7, 000 people raging from 20 to 60 years old.

The study showed that those people who drank in moderation had better brain functions than heavy drinker and non drinkers. It has been shown that the moderate consumers had enhanced memories , better verbal and thinking skills, and better physical health. All the results were the same throughout different groups.

There still isn’t any explanation to this findings and more research is being done. The scientist say that there could be some more factors that haven’t been taken into consideration which could have influenced poor performance of non drinkers.
One of the reasonable explanations for enhanced performance of moderate drinkers may be the one that alcohol improves blood circulation and allows supply of blood to the brain.
who knows, some of these research are done by those who like to promote their product favorably. I wouldn't be surprised if the alcohol industry sponsored this research. I dont trust it. That is like saying cigarettes cures your anxiety, and then you start smoking and get cancer.  I am suspicious!!!!
