Hi I had a few questions about B.V. and Metronidazole being used for the prescription. One of my questions was answered in my earlier post but I am still concerned about a few.


- She didn't mention anything about waiting a certain amount of time before having sex, using tampons, etc. Any suggestions on this would be great!

- B.V. Hm. I'm scared I may have this chronically, even though it's only my first time dealing with it. I just came off Birth Control in January, before my March cycle began, I had my first yeast infection. Recently, I had another one. And now, the B.V. AND yest infection. What are some ways, if any that you have found to ease the odor/discharge/mild itching?/mild burning (and right now I'm still iffy about using a tampon with yogurt.. Maybe I haven't suffered long enough.)

- I am now on Pill 8 of the prescription and have noticed vast improvements in my symptoms. However, I noticed and INCREASE in swelling. I was wondering if maybe the swelling takes longer to improve? Or maybe the swelling is due to everything 'down there' getting back to normal? I also notice very dark coloration in my urine, almost a brown color. Is this normal as well?
