Hi everyone I'm fifteen and am taking a health class. It is very normal to get white cloudy discharge. It's just you Vigina trying to clean itself. It can also be from ovulating, but it's very normal. Unless it starts getting discolored and super stinky, then you need to see someone!

Yeast is caused by changes in your body's pH level. Anything you eat can have an effect on your body's acidity, especially fruits and dairy. Yeast infections are often chronic in women that don't have enough pro-biotic in their bodies. You can buy acidophilus (sp?) probiotic's at any drug or grocery store. Taken everyday, it will keep your body's pH balanced to prevent yeast growth.
Also, yeast infections usually cause a thick white discharge, not greenish. It can have a slightly yellow color and tends to turn yellow when exposed to air, like drying in your underwear.

First sweet pea you are young and you should be sharing things like this with your mom.Mom's have gone through everything that we as women are encountering.Somethings are natural and normal while other are not.I could say to you it may just be a Bacterial Vaginosis(vaginal infection). This is when the normal balance of bacteria in the Vagina become disrupted. The truth is I don't know. Some times Vaginal Yeast Infection can mimic other serious medical issues that we are experiencing. There is absolutely no need to worry about something that you can go to the Doctor and have check out. It's not health for you to be constant worry as a young Girl.If you are sexually active please see your Doctor.Whatsoever you tell your Doctor it's confidential, your Doctor will not express what you discuss in private unless it's life and death.Be bold and smart with your health you are not too young.Good checking out.

wtf? Vaginal discharge is as normal as the sunset... it's needed to keep your vagina moist and healthy.

You all are worrying over nothing. As long as the discharge is clear or white-ish, then you're fine. If it is green-ish or yellowish (or any other unusual color, for that matter), then you might have a yeast infection or want to see a doctor about it. It is true, that there tends to be more of adischarge when you're ovulating, but it's completely normal, and nothing to be concerned about. If you're at or past puberty, it's going to keep happening.
