I was really suffering from what alot of you women are suffering from. I had vaginal burning, papercuts, itching,stinging, swollen Bartholomews Gland (gets swollen and filled with bodily fluid)recurrent yeast infections and painful sex.
I ran to tons of doctors but could not find help. Then I did research and discovered it was my diet and lifestyle. Even if you only have pain after sex it could be your diet and lifestyle. I had constant burning and stinging.
I stopped alot of really addicting things. I know it is hard but there is no drug for this disorder. I had a PH imbalance. I was too acidic. I stopped the following foods and beverages: coffee, tea, carbonated drinks. I never drank alcohol but that is a total no-no. I stopped all fruit, vinegar, whey (dairy), honey, processed food of any kind, artifical sweetners of any time and I stopped sugar for a while.
I began juicing veggies every morning for breakfast. I drank 1/2 my body weight in ounces of Evian water. I only use Evian, Jana, or Figi b/c it has natural bicarbonates that neutralize acids. I ate tons of veggies, potatoes, butter, olive,seasme, grapeseed oils, whole wheat bread but limited. I had to stop tomatoes and all peppers. I added sea salt to salad b/c I could not eat salad dressing due to the vinegar. I look at all ingredients on packages and found I had to eat mostly fresh foods. I limited proteins but didn't eat meat.
I tested and still test my urine with Ph stix to try to become more alkalized.
I practice yoga and managed my stress through massage and meditation.
It was really hard work but I am totally healed. It was always worse around my period....got better during my period.....and then was bad again. Sex was a killer. It took me a little over a year for the burning to subside. It was really slow I won't lie. But I never got healed with any doctors.
