Hi there,

I've been reading as much as I can about coeine withdrawal as I'm on my first day. I would have liked to read various diaries from people to gain in insight of what is involved.
I have been through this a couple of times before but soon returned to taking the tablets again. It's only recently I've realised how many years I've been abusing this drug (solphadol 300/50) and what I've to my body, as well as wonder how the hell I ended up like this.

This time I am determined to get off them and stay off them. While I do this I will record each day as it happens in the hope it helps someone out there. I know tht some accounts I have read it has helped motivate me to stay off them.

OK so my last dose was midnight just gone and its now 5pm - so 17 hours!!
I have a numb headache which isn't so bad - a small price to pay for getting off these tablets.
I'm scared to death about what the next few days will bring - and I hope it doesn't last into next week.
I've noticed my stress at work rise big time and my relationship with my girlfriend deteriorate recently (I've been taking more than usual - 10 tablets a day where the recommended dose is 8). I hate this and this is my motivation for getting off.

I feel a little sick and various aches over my body. If it stays like this I think I can cope but going off what I remember from my last two attempts I kinda know it's going to get worse.

I'm going to go to the gym now to see if that does anything for me, and I'll let you know tomorrow.
Also I've been drinking loads of water and taking some vits and mins, and some detox tablets in a bid to help ease the detox.

OK so I'm off to the gym... I'll keep you posted.
