When will the stinging stop and should i take her to a + e?
You need not be afaid of hymen of your daughter broken while cycling. This isa a common featutre
of rupture of hymen when girls palying and doing long jumps, high jumps, and doing various athletic exercises.
There is no need of worryon this matter.

Hi worrydmum, how old is your daughter and when did it happen?
How old is she? When did this happen?
Exactly what damage was done (apart from broken hymen)?
Where precisely does it sting?
She may well have bruised her genitals, and there may be a risk of cystitis. Sudocreme might help.
Where do you live?
Unless she has evidence of serious damage, A&E does not seem the right place, but an out-of-hours surgery might be more appropriate if you are very worried.
I wouldn't right away. If she's in serious pain for a series of hours I would take her to the emergency room just to make sure she didn't tear anything, but the hymen is very limber and most girls will break the hymen before ever actually having sex. Even if she bleeds a little I'd say only take her if there's pain that requires medication. Talking to her about what happened is a different thing all together, depending on how young she is and if she knows about sex already you may just want to tell her the truth or treat it like any other "boo boo." I hope she feels better and would recommend you wait and see how she feels in an hour or so. This isn't an uncommon thing and I wouldn't worry too much. Again, if she's still in pain in a while, take her, but don't make it a big deal.
