My father is 58 years old.He met a road accident while travelling in an auto.Right femur was fractured.underwent surgery in government general
hospital with a implant inside the femur.Unfortunately it is severly infected
and cleaned by oppening and used heavy antibiotics.implants were removed.
Doctors suggested it will not be cured.bone is not joined.implants are not there.what's solution for it.is it really not cured

This really calls for a second opinion. It sounds like something went really wrong with the surgery. However, he should not resign himself to a life of discomfort and pain. Seek out a reputable, teaching hospital...Preferably one that specializes in orthopedics. Do this right away so that his health doesn't continue to deteriorate, which might lead to additional problems. I hope that he will get answers soon. The answer is out there. Don't give up.
