My fingers turn grey at random times?

My fingers turn grey at random times. At first I thought it was just something to do with the cold, but just the other day I was exercising and my fingertips- not my whole hand, or even the top- were this grey-ish color, could it be because I use my hands for typing almost 24/7? I'm normally really could and my hands and feet are too. but in those situations my hands are pink. What's wrong with me?
