and now the lips of my vagina are really really red and itchy, we've both had other sexual partners. could it be an std?! what should i do? ?

NO you have a vagina infection, and it can be treated with Over the Counter cream, found in the female part of the store. this is caused by not being cleaned up before you & him had your intercourse.
Being sexual active, you should go on the pill so Now make an appointment at your family Dr. or family planning clinic, and take him along for the information on birth control also, he will need to know this. the exam & pills are for free of charge at the clinic, you may get them without your parents’ knowledge or permission.
Birth control can be a diaphragm & jelly (by a Dr. only), the jelly alone, (found at the same place as the lube) condoms for him & the jelly for you, and with birth control pills, may be a longer time to wait if you go on the birth control pills now.
