I used baking soda mixed with water, put it on there and then put a bandaid over it. Applied this twice a day and my mole fell off on the 3rd day.
I didn't actually think it was going to work so somewhat surprised.

I am now using baking soda and vinegar , its working greeeat I just started today and its starting to peel off a little (Y) and at night I put garlic on my mole so im doing one remedie during the day and one at night ;-)

I've got quite a bit of moles on my face, 3 that are super noticeable. So I googled all this on how to remove moles naturally at home etc. And so I tried the castor oil and baking soda. My moles are flat by the way. Anyway they shrunk but haven't gone all together. Though I find when I get rid of one more appear. I'm only 15 and when I was like 10 in primary school I used to cut the little tiny freckle like moles on my legs and arms off with scissors and nail clippers, even sewing pins, picking them out. Because I thought they were just like blood blisters. it kinda worked though. But yeah more and more came over the years. fml. But I am going to get rid of them before I finish high school. I just need stuff that isnt expensive and natural and I can do at home- without my parents finding out. Something exactly like the castor oil and baking soda just more effective.
so if you ever find out, please, please, please, please let me know.
and yeah lemon does lighten the skin, just don't use it to much cause it will get rid of the dead skin and your face will go pink and feel sunburntish.

Im estremely embarrassed about my moles to. Im glad you all think the same as me. We have apple cidar vinegar here at home so im going to try that first.
Will using apple cidar vinegar make them darker and more noticable?
Will it a scab form on top of the mole?
Will a red ring appear around the scab?
How long will this take to remove it completely?

Hi Everyone, I too have many moles but they don't trouble me so much. (Especially the ones on the body - no judgement, but calm down people please!) Maybe because I was raised with the term 'beauty spots'! Well, worked for me ;-) Just wanted to share my experience of getting rid of flat moles without scarring as many people seem to be wanting to do this. It's not a kitchen remedy and it aint cheap (nor is it crazy expensive) but it is very effective and completely scar free. I used a technology called "IPL" (intense pulsed laser?). Flat moles can be treated in gentle repeat sessions or darkened with dye (to target to laser) and tackled in one hit (which looks like a small burn and takes a little time to heal). It works by disrupting the pigment and the mole just disappears; for this reason it is not recommended for raised moles - you just end up with a lump. I used this method to remove 3 small flat moles from my face when it was beginning to look a bit 'busy' and they haven't returned in over 7 years. Regarding cost, the moles were treated as part of facial treatments for sunspots and rosacea (I'm sounding really attractive now eh?;-) and each full-face treatment cost about GBP120 (and that was a fair while ago). You could probably just target all moles in one treatment. This technology has developed a lot and is getting cheaper. Also, this was done for me by a GP who had switched to doing these sorts of procedures in his own home (he was a bit of a cosmetic procedure freak in truth...) - not sure how beauticians feel about removing moles as they are unqualified to speculate as to their malignancy. Either way, I would strongly recommend having any mole checked out by a doctor before you attempt removing it in any way. Also, please bare in mind that recurrence (ie if the grow back) can be a sign of cancer - so at least CHECK IT OUT BEFORE YOU TRY REMOVING IT AGAIN please. I feel emphatic about this as so many of you have mentioned it. Ideally please please please CHECK THEM OUT BEFORE YOU REMOVE THEM! Anyway, I'm looking for a way to shrink/flatten two large puffy moles on my face. I like them being there - good position etc and besides they feel like defining characteristics of my face - so it's really just about flattening, maybe shrinking. Any suggestions most welcome. I'm considering trying ACV or similar but for a shorter timeframe? Peace out and love your body, live with what you can, it's part of life's discipline, become better people rather than visually perfect eh. x

What an interesting thread. I recently started drinking Apple Cider Vinegar upon waking for its energizing and many healing benefits. I add 2 tsp. of raw, unfiltered, ACV to 8 oz of warm water along with a tsp of raw honey. It's very yummy. Around the same time, I started using baking soda to wash my hair and body. Then I rinse my hair with either white vinegar or ACV.
After about a month of doing this, I noticed a mole about the size of a pencil eraser that is located under my left arm along my bra strap started to itch. When I checked it, it was scaly, raised up some and seemed to be peeling away from the skin.
I wasn't even trying to get rid of the mole, but when this started to happen, I wondered if it had something to do with the baking soda, and voila!
I'm not sure what the aversion to blood root is, but I had another "thing" at the top of my arm that looked like a blood blister. Every time I bumped it, it would start quirting out blood profusely. My Naturpathic Doctor had me put black salve (bloodroot) on it until it pulled away from the sides of the skin and fell off. Then I put Puccoon on it till it healed up. The thing about blood root is that it kills the roots and does not re-appear. It did leave a scar that looks like a straight line about an inch long. It actually looks like it was cut out and stitched back together which I think is really cool since no knife was ever used. Personally, I was quite pleased with the results. I am going to see my ND again next week hoping to get more black salve to kill the mole that is along my bra strap.
Oh, and by the way, Apple Cider Vinegar is amazing stuff. If you want to learn more about it, I found this site to be pretty good.

Ive got like about 10 very small ones on my face. One thats above my lip and the other is close to my eyes. I would look a lot better with out them and im tired of looking at myself with depression. I want to live and be happy. Does anybody reccomend easy, safe ways to remove flat moles???Because if you could help me you would be a life saver and a hero. Please sombody reply. Im begging and really desperate. And the moles on my face range from dark brown to light tan and i keep getting more..is this because of puberty???Cuz i dont wanna end up with a thousand on my face. Maybe someone experienced can give me adivce? And please something short and easy, i dont want to go to school looking like a freak. And i went to the dermatologist with my mom and none of them are cancerous. The only thing the doc said was to get surgery and i would end up with dozen of scars on my face. I almost lost all hope of getting rid of any of these hideous things. Hopefully theres a solution out there, i dont want to give up on hope. Well thanx and reply asap. :)

If the moles are small enough protruding, the easiest way to get rid of them is to tie a stran of hair tightly at the base of the mole to cut off its blood supply. In two to three days it will die and fall off like a scab. You'd use hair so it would be barely visible after its been tied. You can also cut off any excess to be even less visible. Ive used this method to get rid of many small moles on my neck an chin with lots of success. Crude but very effective.

I get those little moles all over my neck and chest that are raised. i cant even where neckles bc they rub them but i found out how to getrid of them without checmical or surgery. I had a pretty big one on my neck and for some reason kept playing with it, twisting it around with my finger tip (like a ciricle motion) it about a week of doing this it turned black and just fell right off. no scar no pain nothin. u pretty much cut off the blood going to it.

I have a couple of moles on my the front neck near my adam's apple and near my hairline on the back of my neck. I have 5 or 6 large moles on the top of my back. All of them are the size of a pencil head or larger. They are all flat moles not raised at all. Even worse is that the ones on my back have hair growing out of them and it's a struggle to reach to shave them so that nobody feels them during and ... intimate ... moment. I've never tried anything to remove them. They were small when I was young and have grown larger slightly and more numerous.
When I was about 11 I had a horrible sunburn. I peeled from my and the back of my neck all the way to to my waste and across my chest. It was its worst towards the top of my torso. After I healed, the moles on my back appeared and have grown larger the older I've become. Their growth has slowed each year it sees.
I've have them for years without any complications - illness stemming from them so I wouldn't say that they could be cancerous. However any time I get sun or get a tan they grow slightly larger it seems by less than one mm but definitely noticeable to me.
It's horrible not to be able to ever feel comfortable taking your shirt off. It's awful to see in pictures the on on my neck.
Right at the edge corners of my hairline on the back of my neck I have large raised moles, one I believe is a "keloid" (I think that's the term for what it is. It's large and raised, skin color, and bumpy, almost wrinkly bumps. Luckily they're covered by my hair but if anybody runs their hand on my neck you can feel them.
Altogether I want 5 flat moles removed from my body and the 1 raised mole and the "keloid" removed.
I really think their should be a large website for this that isn't commercial. Lot's of people have problems with their moles. With enough people there could really be shared solutions for removal like people have done here.
I'm going to try AVC. I'll post here again.

I used 5% distilled white vinegar plus baking soda on 2 raised moles on my face, i didn't use vaseline to protect the skin near them and had no redness or anything, they came off in about 3-4 days (the brown part) but the raised part is still there, should i continue using this and will that part come off too and how long will it take? also I've had these since i was born almost, i'm 26 now, what is the likelyhood that they will come back? i have 4 more small (not tiny) flat moles on my face that i just started working on tonight, those are within the last 10 years i'd say that they came about. i have tiny ones here and there on my body, not many at all but i don't care about those, i just want a clear face. Any help would be appreciated!

As I have gotten older, my body has begun to take on the shape and appearance of my late father. This includes several dark but not raised moles on his arms and back.
recenly, my wife noticed the two on my back are more noticable. Not that they are raised but they are bit darker than before. I do not expose my back to the sun, since I've been a teen, and yes, I did have a bad sunburn on the shoulders at age 31 in Utah... but it was not in the area where the dark spots (I hesitate to call them moles) are.
I asked my doctor about them during another visit, and he said he has a skin specialty...and that he knows for sure that these are not the type that I need to worry about. Period.
However, after additional nagging from my wife, and my mentioning them again to him, he has made a snap decision to remove them.
I'd like some feedback from those of you who have had spots "removed" about how it felt after the procedure, and if your movents, feelings or behavior was affected. Finally, my doctor wants to cut these two spots off, but I'm wondering if it's really necessary, if he didn't decide to remove them to shut my wife up. Any comments?
Thanks in advance.
