Yesterday, dec 2nd 2014, I got them taken out. The reason because I would get those nasty tonsil stones. My dr used a lazer. He said I barely bleed during surgery and I didn't bleed after. Before I got the surgery I looked up on it as much as possible. The main thing nobody ever said was your jaw, lips, and face will hurt! Also, the pain I feel in my throat just feels like I swallow after it has been dry for a while. Plus it takes a while to get used to swallowing since everything is swollow. I've been taking liquid Morton and Tylenol, every three hours each. I always felt sick with Vicodin and percocets. Plus I know there is no way I can convince my mind that I can take a pill. Yesterday the only thing I ate was motzo ball soup. Every easy. Also banana Popsicles Today is the same but I added stuffing. And also Apple sauce. I'm actually currently eating the stuffing but I'll stop soon because it hurts so much to swollow. Luckily I haven't been nauseous at all but they did give me a patch before I went into surgery. I keep reading about how as the days go by, it's gets worse so yay. But I know it will be worth it. If you're thinking of doing it, just do it! I probably will post updates as I recover.
