I always wanted to have a deep voice, so imagine how rough it is for me when I hear my friends (many of whom are younger than me) speak in a much deeper tone than I can even pretend to achieve. Over the phone, I am often mistaken for my mom. Our voices have always sounded similar, but I won't pretend that over the years my voice hasn't matured at all. I have certainly achieved a deeper voice than I had 5 years ago, but not by much. I don't have a visible Adam's apple (not sure when that starts to show). I have stressed about this for a while and I finally decided that I want to ask more people. Can someone help?
