I'm also 33 and have been having random dizzy spells which cause huge amounts of anxiety. My third wisdom tooth is coming through now. I have anxiety about being put to sleep and have avoided having my wisdom teeth removed. I am SO relieved to read your post. I've had blood work and wore heart monitors trying to find out what's wrong with me. I just happened to think maybe it's my wisdom teeth.

I've got a gum abscess and have been experiencing same symptoms, my tooth has already been removed but now have an abscess in gum under cheekbone, been having problems with that side of my mouth for about a year . Have been prescribed two different antibiotics to take together but have not worked. Glad to hear people experiencing similar symptoms from dental issues. my dentist now wants to slice my gum open to try to remove abscess, but will not be able to num me completely as infection won't freeze. Anyone had anything like this done because I might see if hospital can do it under sedation as I am not very good with dentists which is why I'm properly where I am now

Wow what a relief to find you all. I've had weeks of feeling so so ill, like doomed ill.I've had weird pains in and around my neck under my jaw which I thought were my veins, feeling like my whole neck was tightening, pain under my Tounge, headaches, sickness, dizziness, breathlessness, heartpalpations, depression, lightheadedness, headaches and severe anxiety. I've got a condition called thoracic outlet syndrome, which I thought was the cause. But nothing made much sense, well turns out my three remaining wisdom teeth are all coming through, I'm 30 and haven't had anxiety issues like this for years it's been horrendous really upset life, made each day very hard. I've had three bouts of pericoronitis, two lots of antibiotics which  messes up your body anyway. So I'm finally having them removed in a week or two, nhs waiting list is 6 months so I'm having to go private....but hope it will be worth it. I'll keep you all posted with how I get on :) x

Look up these terms. It could be your problem.

Sternocleidomastoid syndrome - (Causes dizziness, ringing ears, head aches, disorientation)Levator scapulae syndrome - (Headaches and "head pressure")

Your problem has partially to do with meds you take and the fact that you smoke! You're teeth being out is kinda of like a detox except you keep detoxifying yourself.

Gosh! I have the same symptoms as you and I am 21. It really sucks. Did it help to remove them? Please let me know.
Thank!

Hello future reader!

I wanted to contribute to this thread because it helped me when I was experiencing many of the symptoms folks have been describing here. It won't be great writing as I'm floating around on waves of percocet.

Why percocet?

Because I just got all 4 badly impacted wisdom teeth extracted the other day.

AND I FEEL AMAZING! (And no, it's not just the percocet, though that is nice too.)

Honestly, the moment he pulled the first one (I elected to go with the nitrous, so I was awake and feeling good) there was an indescribable and delicious feeling of relief. My god, it felt amazing. It was numb of course, but nonetheless there was a near-orgasmic sense of pressure being instantly relieved. And as I sit here writing this, there is just a remarkable sense of space and relaxation in my mouth and jaw. I'm seriously just basking in the peace and lightness in my head. I can't believe the difference.

To back up, my upper 2 teeth were badly impacted with roots going into the sinuses, and the lower 2 were also badly impacted- totally sideways and very, very close to the nerve. It was right on the edge of what the dental office was willing to do (the next step up would have been full-on surgery with general anesthesia in a hospital setting-something I wouldn't have been able to afford). Fortunately, the doc was an old pro and he had it all done in an hour, and based on my lack of numbness or tingling, he apparently didn't damage the nerve at all.

Off and on for years, I've been experiencing most of the symptoms discussed in this thread- headaches, nausea, brain fog, dizziness, nausea, anxiety, general unwell-ness. Only rarely did the teeth themselves hurt, it was mostly referred pain. I'm 33 years old, so in addition to not wanting to pay for the procedure, I also became increasingly concerned about my age resulting in a more difficult procedure and/or healing issues. However the issue was forced upon me when eventually I simply couldn't ignore how unpleasant life was becoming. I found an office that accepted payments and made the appointment.

So that's how it happened that a few days ago I found myself in the dental chair with the mask over my face. I breathed deep to let the raspberry-scented nitrous work its magic, which it did in just a few moments. The procedure itself was no problem at all, and as I wrote earlier, the relief was instant and absolutely luscious. To the meditators around here, let me also add that I swear I felt a spontaneous rush of subtle kundalini-esque energy up my spine and into my head, it's as if the teeth were blocking subtle channels, and once they were gone, energy could flow normally again.

This is getting a little lengthy (that's what she s... ), but I just wanted to convey to people that getting my wisdom teeth removed has made a world of difference to me- I can't wait to see how good I feel once I can actually chew normally!

Thank god for modern medicine, I'm so very grateful these things are out.

Anyway, hope this helps someone else make a decision about their teeth! Best of luck to all : )

(ps... the captcha for this form is "RELIEF" ...synchronicity baby!)

Oh my god. It's such a relief to hear that others are having the same problems (not in a bad way haha). Iv been feeling very lightheaded/dizzy/anxious/pressure in head and temples/ heart palpitations and anxiety for a month and a half now. I have been worried SICK! I don't remember what it feels like to feel normal! I put off extracting my top 2 wisdom teeth because iv been scared of the pain and couldn't really afford it.. It's like my dentist doesn't want to tell me the severity of the impaction and she just keeps insisting i remove them, but I didnt want to remove them just because they MIGHT be causing the dizziness. Anyway IV had enough and I'm doing it this week anyway. I know u all want to hear the results as much as I did from others so I will definitely keep u all updated. I know how frustrating and scary it is

I went through this with my wisdom teeth. I read a lot of these forums but could not find many posts from people who had actually had their wisdom teeth removed and how they felt as a result.

I have had sll four wisdom teeth removed (two impacted, two crooked). Before I encountered problems with my teeth, I was happy, healthy and active. I am 23 yeard old and do not consume caffeine.

I was not in any pain from my teeth but regularly experienced a foul taste in my mouth. I suffered with Vestibular Neuritis (accute virus of the inner ear causing extreme dizziness and imbalance). For months I was constantly tired, vague, lightheaded and dizzy. It is hard to explain, but it felt like I wasn't really 'there'. It also felt like my ears were 'full' even though I had them checked and they were clear.

I went on some antibiotics to clear up the infection in my wisdom teeth but that awful vague feeling never subsided.

I had my surgery in March 2015 and it has completely solved the problem. Wisdom teeth can reap havic on your body by slowly and ever so slightly leaking bacteria etc into your blood. So glad I am back to normal again.

So happy to have found this thread! I have the dizziness, ear fullness, nasal congestion and stiff neck symptoms for about a year!!

Its only recently that my wisdom tooth has actually started to hurt!

Has anyone else suffered the same?

thanks

I have the same but I was diagnosed with Vertical Heterophoria which is an eye condition. My doctor said it is most likely the cause of my issues.
