Can you get a Neural Foraminal Stenosis from Rotator Cuff Surgery and a Nerve Block for pain at the time of surgery?
I had rotator cuff surgery on 1-12-11, had complications from the nerve block giving me the hiccups for two days and creating a hiatal hernia.
i went back to work on June 1 2011 and during my recovery I was having pains and numbness in my right shoulder and hand with a loss of strength.
I went for a MRI of my neck which showed a C4/5, C5/6 Neural Foraminal Stenosis. I work as on premise wine consultant which intails seeing 15 to 20 clients a day and driving 40 to 60 miles per day, I usually carry a wine bag with samples, laptop, and shoulder bag. As the week and days progress I am experiencing increased pain and discomfort. I am now back out of work and working on resolving this situation.
I have been diagnosed with bilateral neural foraminal stenosis @C4-5 and C5-6. Can you give me any more info about this condition and what are my treatment options?
