I had an abortion three weeks ago (please do not judge me)
And my breasts had started producing milk, now that most of my body has gone back to normal. I have a bleb on my right breast. Everything online says to continue breast feeding to make it go away. but I dont have a baby to nurse or a SO who is willing to 'service' my nipple.
What can I do. I have a doctors appt in two weeks, is there anything i can do to fix the problem before then, it is a bit tender but that may be because of me poking at it so much.

Hi Emily: How far along were you? The maximum gestational age is 20 weeks! Did you have a late term abortion for medical reasons?
I have NEVER heard of this, if the surgery was done 20 weeks or less.
Also what the heck is a bleb?

I was 11 weeks along with triplets.
I was assured that because of my multiples it was normal to have these kinds of 'issues' I had a VERY hard morning sickness/early pregnancy symptoms.

OH! WOW!!!! I know with multiples there is SEVERE pregnancy symptoms, it's a shame they couldn't help you more. BUT that's your call!
I still don't know what a bleb is hon!
Also DO NOT start any suction, because this will just keep the milk coming. Even women who adopt can actually breast feed over time, when they keep suctioning and suctioning.
When I was stopping breast feeding, I used an old wives tale of drinking water with Epsom Salts in it = it's a laxative and my breasts stopped producing milk in a day. BUT I can't remember the quantities so I wont say that.
This WILL be slightly uncomfrotable for you. BUT your breasts haven't had time to engourge or become mastysic. So just keep wearing breast pads. And WHEN the breast starts feeling painful, this old wives tale is the BEST!!! Boil whole cabbage leaves and when they are soft, you wrap them all over your breasts. They should be VERY warm to the touch, but not burning. The cabbage has an analgesic in them and is the best thing EVER! Another way is phoning your doctor and asking him/her to give you a pill to stop breast milk. I'm not usually in favor of anything like that, but in your case it's different. Don't do anything with the breast, press it or anything to trick into secreting more milk.
IT should take about a week, probably less for this to subside. And if there is any pain take ibuprofen only OK? Good luck and health!
IF a bleb is a blister, that too can be controlled by the cabbage leaves - I KNOW it sounds crazy but it TOTALY works! I guarantee it. You will be doing it ALL the time ! ;-) XD
