I had a breast lip and had no necrosis. Actually my nipples are much more sensitive now. I know that if you smoke it will greatly increase your chances of getting necrosis.

if you feel any discomfort after you had breast lift surgery you need to see your surgeon as soon as possible. I presume that you have been on a regular check up and I can't but to wonder (if you experience nipple necrosis) how come that your doctor hasn't notice anything strange on your nipples? And do you feel any fever? And if you suspect that this might be happening and your surgeon hasn't done anything about it than you should definitely ask for second opinion!
Anyhow I am hoping that you are just curious and that you don't experience symptoms of nipple necrosis. Keep us posted about your condition and good luck.
