I am really freaking out. Last week I had surgery on my nose to remove a basal cell carcinoma. The doctor gave me a nerve block in the side of my nose and directly in the area of skin to be removed. All went great and I'm healing very well but today (7 days later) my nose started twitching. It is like a pulse on the side of my nose where the injection was. It is a very creepy feeling and I'm scared I will have this forever. Can anyone help explain this or have you experienced the twitching due to a nerve block?

Mine has been doing it for months.  Never had it before.  Did it solid for a weekend. Was freaky. Now doing it  at random. May stop for a few days then here it goes again.  Thought about consulting a ENT, until reading this post.  I dont need someone to tell me they dont know and charge you for it.  I did notice when it first started that my eye and a line down to the left nostril didnt look the same. Looked swollen. Used visine, set my eye on fire. The other eye nothing. Thought it might be viral, but if this many people are experiencing the same thing.  I am not going to worry.
