Hi 'Guest'

That sounds like an ejaculation to me %-) Did you orgasm?

We spoke earlier in the thread about paraphimosis, where the foreskin won't return from behind the glans, but it is something that you need to know rather than be worried about. If you're careful the chances of this happening are slim.

Stretching is the best way to go in these cases. You should look to pull the foreskin back gently and when you feel any pain stop. Return the foreskin and try again and try to go a little bit further. But the main thing is be gentle and don't force it anywhere. When you get to the stage where you can see the glans you will see what looks to be a piece of skin attaching the underside of the foreskin to the underside of your glans, this is the frenulum and is completely normal.

In the unlikely event that it gets stuck, you will need to squeeze your glans and pull the foreskin back into place. But again, if your gentle and don't force it anywhere this shouldn't be a problem. I've been through phimosis twice (tough luck I know) and through all the stretching that it entails and this has never happened to me because I was careful.

I hope thats helped a little, if you've got any further questions just ask. :-D

Hey...my penis is able to be pulled back when it's not erected and im working on stretching it so that I can pull it back when i'm erected. I read about something called Balantis...which im very scared of. On my penis foreskin i have some red bumps kinda and i was wondering if they were...what should I do if they are?

Hi kami

You may want to check this out on Balanitis if you havent already: http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Balanitis/Pages/Introduction.aspx

If it is balanitis its difficult to know how to treat it because that depends on the cause, so you would really need to go and see your GP. However it is most likely to be due to you not cleaning under your foreskin so could be a bacteria infection requiring an antibiotic, but you should see your doctor for a definite diagnosis.

You should be cleaning inside the foreskin. Just roll back the foreskin and give it a clean out with water. I'd avoid the soap as it could be painful or cause irritation.

It's good that your working on the stretching, the hard part is initially trying to get it retracted when not erect so your passed that stage. The best technique I can recommend to you is the 'finger method' i described a few posts ago, here it is again:

A good way to desensitise your penis is to handle it under water in the bath. The warm water numbs the nerve endings making the feeling less acute. You should grip your glans between your thumb and index finger until the sensation subsides then move to another area and continue as long as you can be bothered. After a short while you should start to see an improvement.

Hope this has helped a bit, if there's anything I've missed or you've got any questions let me know :)

Okay you're so smart and helpful :-) Oh also I'm 15 and stuff. So right now I can pull my foreskin back and everything. I left it pulled back and then I erected and i pulled it up and pulled it back down so I guess i'm fine? :-) But it's still sensitive and I read before from your previous post on a different topic that you said you shouldn't leave the foreskin pulled down if your foreskin is tight because it can cause Paraphimosis? Would you say mine is tight? Should I leave it pulled down with my pants on and get use to it? and also when pulled down my penis looks clean. just that there's some stuff on the edge of the foreskin...can't really describe but it doesn't look bad and i've had it for a while and it never bothered me. Idk if i'm just exaggerating or not. Please answer :-)! Thanks so much btw...

Also...when I pull the foreskin down and I erect..it hurst my frenulum? :S Feels like it's going to tear kinda.

It can look and feel like it is the frenulum that is hurting but in the end it could just be the foreskin in general. So I wouldn't take the risk of leaving the foreskin pulled back in your case.

It hurting is something to keep an eye on though. If it is only a tight foreskin, if you keep pulling it back when erect every now and again it will solve it. But if it is actually the frenulum it won't stretch and you won't see any improvement after a couple of months. It may tear, but it will normally heal without treatment after several days of resting it. If it tears it will bleed by the way. When it heals it may heal to be longer so it no longer hurts or you could require a 'frenuloplasty', where a small cut is made in the frenulum to make it longer and allow for a full retraction. Its normally done under a local anaesthetic and isn't anything to worry about - but wait a couple of months anyway.

The stuff on the edge of your foreskin is likely to be smegma and its important that you clean this off and keep on top of it in the future.

For the record, its not a good idea to pull it back and then get an erection if you've never done it before as that really is a sure-fire way to paraphimosis if it is tight.

Again, any more questions let me know :-)

Okay! Should I just do the shower thing then? I don't want it to be sensitive -.- And the thing on the foreskin won't come off? It looks kinda gross...it doesn't look right though...should i consult my doctor? :S they're just like little bumps.

It doesn't look anything like Smegma btw.

Doesn't sounds like smegma then. You could look up Fordyce spots, but I'd be guessing now, yeh I think the best thing to do is a quick visit to the doctor and be sure.

But still keep up good personal hygeine and wash underneath the foreskin with water.

Yes I would desensitise in the bath. If you do it under the warm water its a lot easier and you don't get that 'ouchy' ! reflex feeling, if you know what I mean.

Okay I guess I'll keep stretching my foreskin and try to make my penis less sensitive. I've had these spots for a while and they havent bothered me at all. I'll get it checked out though later. But are you sure I shouldn't leave the skin down? I've had no trouble putting it back up when i've been erected or not. :-P and yea I can pull down my foreskin when erected but it just takes a while :-P

Could you explain more about the stretching thing? I'm kinda confused. lmfao

Yeh just get him to take a look next time your there.

Obviously its up to you if you want to leave your foreskin pulled down. But from what you describe I don't think its worth it right now. Keep pulling it back and when it slides nicely up and down then I would consider leaving it pulled back.

If it is tight at all and you leave it retracted for a long period of time it could be gradually cutting off blood flow to the head and causing a slight swelling and also be made worse by a nice skirt walking passed causing you to get and erection.
