my husband 57 yr old insulin dependant diabetic had an ablation 10 months ago which wasn't successful, and since then has had 6 cardioversions. His condition is not improving in fact it's becoming more complicated. Last week his lung collapsed and whilst he is in hospital at the moment I am terrified he will go back into AFib, as they have taken him off his blood thinner zarelto as surgery was needed to insert tube into lung for drainage and if he goes into A/Fib he's not strong enough for a cardiovert with only one lung functioning. Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated as I'm going out of my mind with worry watching him detiorating in front of me.
