I've been on the pill for almost 3 weeks now, and about two nights ago I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend (I know the pill doesn't stop STDs, not my problem right now). I had a light period, but it had stopped at the time, then picked up the next day. Could I get pregnant, and should I get the morning after pill?
Hi Mojepa, your chances of pregnancy occurring while on birth control is .01% - birth control are known for effectively working on protecting against pregnancy. Your body is just getting used to the birth control which can make your periods a little strange at first and that will go away after your body adjusts. Hope this helps
