It's good that you met their budding sexual curiosity head on. They probably learned a lot from seeing each other, and it satisfied their mutual curiosity. I think parents worry way too much about these types of things. Also, masturbation is a beautiful act of self-love and should be taught when the timing is right. There is so much taboo surrounding it and their needn't be. Done with love and sensitivity, it can help a young person come to understand their own body in a way that is wonderful and personal.
