A malfunctioning Pancreas (Pancreatic Insufficiency), alcohol induced pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, and/or gallstones, and other problems can cause oily orange stools.

Basically, anytime the pancreas fails, one may see oily stool because his body fails to digest fats.  This is called steatorrhea.

Steatorrhea is an early warning sign of pancreas, and yes, sometimes, liver and/or gallbladder problems.

You should DEFINITELY go to a doctor immediately.   If you have a Primary Care Doctor who you already see I would start there.  If you do not have a regular doctor, I would find a good Internal Medicine Doctor or a Family Medicine Doctor and get checked right away.

You may need to be referred to a good GI doctor too, at some point, for further workup.

Good luck and please let me know what happens.
