I just got married a little over a month ago and didn't have any pain until after we got back from our honeymoon. A friend of mine said I might be having pain because it was too dry. So we made sure that things were well lubricated down there, even went so far as to use KY just to make sure. But the second we tried to have intercourse, it still hurt at the bottom of my vaginal opening. I've looked at it and it is a little bright red where it hurts. Haven't had sex for a week and it still is red. Doesn't burn when I pee ever. It does not hurt when I put a tampon in, but if I tip the applicator downward it does.

It sounds like you could have a tear or some kind of skin irritation that continues the more friction in the area. Going to the doctor would be a smart move. Don't go too long with painful intercourse.
