Yup everything that everyone has said in here describes the thing that I have - burning pain at the tip of my penis and the urge to pee all the time - Sometimes I know if I masterbate right now I will get the hated burning sensation so I have to stop myself and wait it out a few days before I do it again - I don't really drink alcohol so I don't think it is related to that, but I do have issues with Kidney stones so I drink a lot of water all the time so I do suspect it could be something to do with a full bladder. But then again I've never really thought about it before and just thought it had something to do with passing little stones at some point, which I probably do but I think it is something else. But reading through most of these pages will have me paying more attention to whats going on and around what times... But for me to fix it ? I normally just walk around for a bit - I definately can't sit down on a chair as damn that hurts, sitting on the toilet is fine but I really don't want to pee as the tip of my penis just hurts to much...

Caused by an acid-base reaction in the urethera.Urine is acidic and your urethera (the tube down which your urine and ejaculate pass towards the head of your penis) but ejeculate is not acidic. When you *** there is ejaculate in the tube when you piss it pumped full of acid and some of that acid gets pushed up the tube towards your testis. That bit of tubing doesn't like acid and so you sting like crazy. It can be cured by drinking lots of water so you piss a lot and flush it out or by taking a urinary track alkalizer (from your chemist). Add the powder to water and drink. It makes you piss a lot and neutralises the acid.

So i have had this since I was like 18, now 26 and have always wondered why it is and for me, I think I have found a way to prevent it, or at least it works for me. This is going to a bit of a graphic description so there is your warning. I have noticed that it occurs for me when I ejaculate and then stop immediately, wether masturbating or orgasming through oral sex or intercourse. The basic story is, once I ejaculate, if I essentially stop immediately once I ejaculate then I am more likely to have this pain. On the other hand, if I ejaculate then either keep masturbating for a 20 seconds or so, or continue to get pleasured orally or through intercourse. I dont get it.
Is this connection only for me? Maybe it is something unique to me, I dont know, but maybe others feel the same way. Try it.

After reading the comments, I am *strongly* inclined to say this has to do with stress - both stress of the muscles themselves and a general state of stress.
It's worth noting that we've all experienced this before, so each time we notice a recurrence, we feel even more stressed.
Being distracted for awhile, or even feeling like we're doing something productive to get rid of the pain - this differers from pereson to person, so I'm inclined to say its the thought process of *believing* we're solving the issue, rather than actually solving the issue, that makes the discomfort go away. Its important to note that warm water running over the affected area also seems to be beneficial, which would actually loosen up the muscles and help with the mustular stress itself.
Plus, due to the nature of the problem making us think it might be an STD, we get even more stressed. STDs are particulary distressing because they make you feel ashamed and and even worried that you may have passed this on to someone, etc.
And the fact that it is more likely to occur after masturbation instead of sex also makes me think it has to do with stress. Sex itself is a much more natural process and masturbation may stress people out - we've all identified with the feeling of wishing and wondering why we aren't with a girl instead of our hand!
Another important thing that was mentioned is the unnatural use of muscules to "hold back" and last longer while masturbating or even having sex. Withholding semen is completely counterintuitive when it comes to the evolutionary biology of the process of sex. Think about it: so much of our internal programming is devoted to getting us to the point of actually "getting it in," and all we are really worried about is laying our seed! Holding back is completely unnatural. I'd advise against doing this. Instead, just pull out for a second and take a break!
To me, this problem highlights something I've been thinking for quite some time: that we men shouldn't rely on masturbation so much. Sure, its fine to grab a tug on the ol' python from time to time, but there really is a fine line. Its all about the mentality: as soon as you start questioning whether or not you're masturbating too much, you're probably masturbating too much. Its just like drinking or any other addictive habit. Don't listen to what anyone else tells you, though - we are the only ones that are able to truly understand the reason why we do something. And if its the case that you really are only masturbating because you just generally want to and there are no negative feelings attached, go absolutely mental and feel no remorse.
I hope that I shared some opinions that aren't completely bs. I know that some of my anxieties about this issue have been calmed by reading this post. I do agree that the medical field needs to get its sh*t together on this issue.
