I'm currently waiting out the pain myself. Although I consumed alcohol prior to this occuring, it is definitely not because of the alcohol or the ejaculation. I have had these symptoms since I was a child, even before I could ejaculate. I found that it is definitely due to urethra irritation. Ths cause of this irritation is from high pressure. Whether that be from ejaculation or simply pushing the urine out too hard. For anybody experiencing the symptoms, I recommend taking your time when you urinate and regulating the pressure. Taking it slow means less time in pain... Trust me.

Ive found that holding back that first pee after ejaculating till you cant hold it anymore, then peeing. Taking paracetamol and then sitting on the toilet and just letting your body empty itself of urine seems to work for me

It's very nice to see that I'm not the only one this has been happening to. I'm 34 and it's been happening to me since I was 20. I've been to several urologists and the last one I went to, we did all of the exams and he even put a scope up my penis (it sucks, don't do it if you don't have to). Well after thousands of dollars of medical bills, the doctors have no answer, and don't seem to care to find an answer. I am married now, and it's not as big of a deal as when I was a bachelor (it's very embarassing to go in hiding for at least 30 minutes after a fresh score). About 90% of the time, it happens after heavy drinking, but that's not the only time it's happened. I have all of the similar symptoms. Immediately after ejaculation, I know it's happened. I have a sudden terrible urge to urinate and I can never seem to empty my bladder. I just dribble for about 30 minutes with a terrible burning sensation around my Penis. Sitting in a hot shower seems to help, as well as laying with a hot rag on my package. I thought for sure I was going to end up dying from some type of unknown STD or prostate problem. I really really wish some doctor would find out exactly what's going on so I can rest easy at night.

Sometimes if I urinate soon after ejaculation, I will feel pain in my urethra near the tip of the penis. Also, sometimes I will feel mild discomfort even before I have urinated. The burning pain during urination usually only lasts for about 30 minutes with mild discomfort lasting another 30 minutes or so. During this time, it feels like I can't empty my bladder and I end up visiting the bathroom many times, only urinating a little at a time. This only happens periodically and can happen after masturbation or intercourse. I have had this problem for several years now (even before I became sexually active). Since it only happens once in a while, I haven't mentioned it to a doctor, but I'd like to know what the problem is and if I can do anything about it. I plan on asking my doctor about this next time I go in for a checkup, but in the meantime I am hoping someone here can help me understand what is going on. Thanks.

Same thing here: drink alcohol, ejaculated (sex, but has happened with masturbation as well), and then pee. No itchiness ... Just pain. Pure pain in my penis. It is terrible! But reading about all of you suffering makes me fee better :)
So the cranberry juice tip above is solid advice, I've done that before. But if you don't have cranberry juice, drink water instead. You want to make yourself have to pee, that will help the pain go away. Keep drinking that water!
On a side note, I've been trying to find any form of instant pain relief ... Because, as some of you know, this can really hurt like a b***h and any form of instant pain relief would be so helpful. Well, I decided to turn on a heating pad (highest heat setting) and press it against my crotch. It doesn't really make the pain go away, but it makes it slightly more bearable.

I've had this my whole life, remember it back when I was 12 or so and didn't drink, but masturbated. Alcohol and sleeping meds like NyQuil, etc with alcohol in them cause it for me. Currently found this stream because I'm going through it right now.
For me a hot shower is the only solution I've found. I stay in for the majority of the pain with the hot water all around my penis. This soothes it, but doesn't eliminate it. I also will sit on the toilet and do something on my iPad to distract me like typing this so I can pee when it hurts. It sucks, I feel your pain.
