Guys... this is the answer. Everyone keeps posting their age and they have these symptoms but this is the answer. It's just like 50% of the population who eats Asparagus will have a chemical reaction occur which causes the urine to have a specific odour. Same with this. Some of the population is more susceptible to an acid-base reaction in the urethra. If you're drinking (highly acidic) then lay off masturbating until the next day unless you have been drinking lots of water with the alcohol.

I have experienced this issue for as long as I can remember, I am a 44 year old male. Burning after ejaculation. Discomfort to the point of HAVING to get up and the need to pee, and occasionally take a dump. Often just a few drops, of pee that is, lol.
I have whittled it down to a few things. Alcohol, #1... This, for the most part happens after drinking but not always.
The times it doesn't involve alcohol it is when I have had that kind of amazing sex (haven't masturbated for a week or so) and I cum SUPER hard. So hard it makes your toes curl, you konw what im talking about. When it happens in this instance it is very mild, when it is as mentioned above, with alcohol it can be unbearable. I have found a cure and with that, I think, an explaination.
First the cure.
TUMS and water....
If you are about to have sex after drinking or about to squeeze one off, eat a couple TUMS or other antacids and drink a bottle of water. You either want the water and antacid to pass through you BEFORE you ejaculate or very soon after.
the reason:
I think the alcohol changes the PH in the urethra, then you ejaculate which changes it further, in the other direction. Then you urinate again and the discomfort somewhat subsides but comes back. Either way, the PH of semen isn't something that your urethra likes.
Antacid is the only thing I have found that cures this problem. I don't completely understand it, I don't really care any more. I take a TUMS if I find myself in this situation and all is well.
BUT wait, what if its too late. You drank too much, squeezed one off, and are in distress..... Take a few tums and drink a bunch of water. (not more alcohol)
You have to get that antacid to pass through your tool. (this is a one way trip, don't be an id**t here, ok?) TUMS and a bottle or two of water and about 20 minutes and the burning will go away.
If it is burning when you just straight pee, no ejaculation, you most likely have and STD and need to go to a Dr. Trust me here on this...

I figured out what causes this. This happens to me whenever I pee after having intercourse. Its normally when I have prolonged sessions of intercourse/masturbation. This means I will ejaculate pretty intensely and then have to pee right after. As far as a solution, try to pee before having intercourse or wait about twenty to thirty minutes after ejaculation. This sucks when you really have to pee. Sometimes I'll get the timing wrong and I'll be in pain. A few things you can do to alleviate is this, drink as much was as you possibly can, in excess. I've noticed the pain is caused by me attempting to push out pee that is not really there. However, when I actually pee something out, it feels better. So I usually drink 4 cups of water and try to pee. Normally this helps speed up the process. Otherwise the pain/discomfort can last for up to an hour. If this still doesn't work. Take a long hot shower. For some reason that helps me pee and has helped distract from the pain. I'm guessing this is caused by some sort of irritating from having to pee really bad while needing to ejaculate pretty bad.

So I have a solution. Grab a glass and fill it with water, and chug it down fast maybe do it a second time. Then just sit on the toilet sitand just wait, normally I wait around 20 min, and then when I try to urinate there is not a burning pain and I can get rid of the acidic stuff within the uretha. So in all, just chug some water and watcha YouTube video or two on the toilets then try to piss it out.

"not unusual", maybe true, but right now I am sitting here with this (dysuria) and also a severely broken ankle. If I had to choose between the two, there would be no contest. This 'sensation' is extremely painful. I can't sleep. I can't even really think. It makes me sick. Considering the negative impact this feeling would have on the desire to ejaculate in the first place, why haven't we evolved out of it???

i dont know about that, it may be more common, but this has been happening to me since i was like 12, so wayy before i started drinking, i notice that it happens to me more when ive been drinking, but the beer is not the answer. i am starting to think that it may have something to do with the ejaculate itself. the last time it happened to me (20 minutes ago) while i was urinating that painful itchy urination, a small amount of ejaculate came out with the urine, which makes me think that it may be that sometimes when drinking or for other complications, the body is not ejection the semen fully, so there is a small amount left in the urethra, which could lead to some discomfort because your body wants it all the way out. just a theory.

The cause is DEHYDRATION! Make sure you drink sufficient water before ejaculation and avoid alcohol/coffee. If it still happens, just drink a lot of water asap.

I get this occasionally, have done for years, definitely seems related to drinking alcohol or a full bladder. Quite uncomfortable, pain in the penis and groin and frequent need to urinate just a few drops but I find a couple of asprin or paracetamol gets rid of it in 10-15 minutes.
