My friend had a surgery for broken hip15 months ago. He broke his hip and now he has four screws inside, He is still in constant pain. Doctor took some x-rays meanwhile and put him on pain relief meds, but he said that he couldn’t find anything new. Is it possible that those screws are cause of pain?
I have two hip surgeries and not even second one has fixed anything. So, he took the screws out so they could do a 3d cat scan. Taking the screws out gave me some relief, but also made my leg hurt in a different way now too. I would say it is worth a try since you don’t need the screws anymore. It’s been 15 months and it is along time to be in pain after surgery. As long as there is nothing new on the x-rays the screws really could be the cause.
