Hi, guest. Persistent stomach pain, sulfur burps, diarrhea, and elevated liver enzymes can be indicative of a range of gastrointestinal or liver issues, and it's important that these symptoms are thoroughly investigated by healthcare professionals.

Given your symptoms and the fact that your liver enzyme levels are elevated, there are several possibilities:

  1. Gastrointestinal Issues: Conditions such as gastritis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or peptic ulcers can cause stomach pain and may be associated with changes in bowel movements.

  2. Liver or Gallbladder Problems: Elevated liver enzymes might indicate a problem with your liver or gallbladder, such as hepatitis, gallstones, or fatty liver disease. These conditions can cause severe pain and digestive symptoms.

  3. Infection: Certain infections, such as a gastrointestinal infection or a more systemic infection, can affect the liver and digestive system.

  4. Diet and Lifestyle Factors: Sometimes, dietary habits or lifestyle factors can contribute to these symptoms. For instance, consuming foods that are high in sulfur can lead to sulfur burps.

While awaiting further medical evaluation, you may want to consider dietary changes. Eating bland, non-fatty, and low-sulfur foods might help alleviate some symptoms. Avoiding alcohol and processed foods can also be beneficial, especially for liver health.

If over-the-counter pain medications are not effective, discuss stronger pain management options with your doctor.
