I am 42 yrs old and my husband is 49.... he is experiencing painful & bloody ejaculation to the point that he is leary of ejaculating...is there a medical condition that we should be looking for or is it normal? The pain and blood only seem to be worse when it has been more than a week or 2 since the last ejaculation. I am worried about his well-being. This doesn't seem normal too me. PLEASE HELP!!

Your husband needs to see a urologist NOW. He may have an infection - prostatitis, or even prostate cancer. He needs an examination.
