Hi, I'm 16 and have an elongated labia. Over the last week, it has become really itchy and sore and painful. It also bleeds. I am really worried about this, can anyone help?

Hey, I'm 16 as well. I think I might have this too but I don't know for sure. Mine can get irritated from underwear friction and become sore and I think maybe swollen. At first I was scared because I thought it was cancerous tissue because one is larger than the other and the texture was kinda weir but that was before I knew what elongated labia was. I think I may get it checked out it the future. I am not and never have been sexually active so I don't know if it will become troublesome when that eventually happens, right now it just makes me self-conscious.
I'm 17 and have the same thing. I don't wear tampons because I find them to uncomfortable and my sister got a lot of infections from them and my family is more of a pads family but my enlarged labia rubs against the pad so much that it gets very itchy and irritated so that might be able to help.
