Hi, I am 54 years old and I am suffering from breast cancer. After I finished my first cycle of chemotherapy I have experienced pain in joint in my legs and my arms. I have tried with some pain killers but it didn't help me much. I would like to know is it common to feel such pain after chemo.
Hi, my sister also had similar problem although her doctor told her that there is not particular connection between chemotherapy and joint pain. Doctor's opinion is that such pain may be caused by low level of estrogen which may lead to osteoporosis and cause joint and bone pain. However I suggest you to try with vitamin B6 and consult your doctor about possible osteoporosis.
