I have a pretty large lump on the inside of my arm above where my elbow bends, it is very painful. I cant fully extend my arm or bend it in all the way without horrible pain. I have been using needles, so I'm scared to go to the doctor or hospital. I am wondering how serious this may be?

I would highly reccomend you go to a local hospital and get that checked out. DON'T WORRY the hosppital isn't like a police station...we as healthcare providers don't hold any judgement on our patients...our job is to ensure your safe & healthy but you live your life however you choose & we accept that. No one will push their personal beleifs or opinions on you. I can't say the doctor won't reccomend you do otherwise but that's his job BUT YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST GET THIS CHECKED...as you may know you can contact many infections if the needle is contaminated, but what you may not know is that it can get contaminated by simply coming in contact with air. Many microorganisms travel in the air and on many surfaces. You could have a staph infection in your arm or even a blood clot... link explaining staph>>>>http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/staph-infections/ds00973
